Our Journey
Welcome to Bikers Byte, a sanctuary for the stories, wisdom, and experiences of veteran motorcyclists who have spent decades embracing the freedom of the open road. What began as a passionate side project has evolved into a dedicated platform preserving the rich heritage of motorcycle culture through the eyes of those who lived it fully.
We believe that every aging rider carries within them a library of experiences—tales of cross-country adventures, mechanical triumphs and disasters, brotherhood forged on highways, and profound moments of solitude under vast skies. These stories deserve to be told, preserved, and shared with younger generations of riders and enthusiasts.
Through intimate interviews, evocative photography, and thoughtful narratives, we document the lives of men and women who found their purpose astride two wheels—many of whom rode in eras before digital navigation, cell phones, and modern safety equipment.

Why We Started Bikers Byte
Bikers Byte was born during a transformative encounter at a small roadside diner in Sturgis, 2016. I found myself seated next to a group of riders in their 70s and 80s who had been attending the rally since the 1950s. For hours, I listened, captivated, as they shared tales from the golden era of American motorcycling—stories filled with raw authenticity that I realized were at risk of being lost forever.
So I decided to create a simple blog to document these stories. What began as a personal passion project quickly resonated with readers across the motorcycling community. Messages poured in from people who recognized their fathers, uncles, or themselves in these narratives, along with requests to document more stories before they faded away.
Now, Bikers Byte has evolved into a dedicated archive preserving the authentic voices, photographs, and wisdom of an aging generation of riders whose contributions to motorcycle culture deserve to be honored and remembered.
